As well as getting out and about to events, we have also sought to find ways to expend the impact that we have as Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, and sometimes that means you need to look at utilising technology to spread our work even further than we could by just turning up at events!
We first started to dabble with multi-media projects back in 2020 while start part of other Houses. This was since there was a global pandemic was taking place and it meant that we couldn’t really be going out and about to events, but had to stay in doors. But as Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, we have a deep seated need to continue to spread queer joy however we can, which lead us to starting some projects that could be shared via YouTube and other hosting sites.
Since then, we have always looked at what way is the best way to deliver a piece of work we wish to do, and sometimes the best way is actually to create a podcast, video series, or other online format which can then be shared globally instead of just being confined to Scotland.

ASK A SISTER (Video format)
Ask a Sister was a collection of short videos where members of the Haus cover a queer topic with the aims of helping to educate people or share our opinions on the issues. These are released interspersed with Pure Nunsese on Youtube each week and can be viewed on the Haus of Nunsense channel. PURE NUNSENSE (Video format)
Pure Nunsense was a supplement to Utter Nunsense, capturing some of the really random and silly conversations that happen before and during filming the chat show. The plan was that these quirky videos can help spread a bit of joy to those watching. These were released interspersed with Ask a Sister videos on Youtube each week on the Haus of Nunsense channel. UTTER NUNSENSE (Video format)
Utter Nunsense was the chat show with a difference! Hosted by drag nuns Sister Alaska Lott and Sister Babeushka from the Order of Perpetual Indulgence, this show covered all things LGBTQ+ with plenty of laughs, glitter, and side tracks into hilarious nunsense.
